Melanoma is one of the most common cancers and causes of death from skin cancer. It is also one of the most common malignancies to metastasize to the gastrointestinal tract. However, the incidence of gastrointestinal metastases from unknown primary cutaneous melanoma is reported to be 4-9%.

Methods: We enrolled 522 patients free from eating difficulties and with short diagnostic delay between June 2014 to June 2019. The calculating formula for the monthly rate of weight loss=[(weight at baseline-weight at diagnosis)/(weight at baseline*100 %)]/time interval.
Gene polymorphisms have been implicated in increased susceptibility of nasopharyngeal carcinoma, but studies have reported inconclusive results. The present study investigates the relationship between each potential gene polymorphism and the risk of nasopharyngeal carcinoma through a comprehensive series of meta-analyses. Data from Pubmed, CNKI, Wanfang and Weipu databases were collected, evaluated and analyzed.

The aim of the current study is to assess the association by meta-analysis. A total of 15 case-control studies concerning the association between the XPD Lys751Gln polymorphism and bladder cancer risk were included in the meta-analysis.
