Polyneuropathy, organomegaly, endocrinopathy, monoclonal protein, skin changes (POEMS) syndrome is a rare systemic disorder linked to plasma cell dyscrasia and is related to elevation of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF). Diagnosis is still challenging and pathophysiology unclear.
