Alkynol semi-hydrogenation plays a vital role in industrial processes, due to the significance of its main product, enol, in high-end chemical synthesis, such as medicine, pesticide, food additives, and polymer monomer synthesis. Multiple intermediates are formed through a complex series of parallel or continuous reactions under varying conditions. However, the selectivity and efficiency of catalysts for producing these products still pose significant challenges.
