Obtaining effective extreme ultraviolet lithography (EUVL) materials for pragmatic applications remains challenging. The experimental design and conventional theoretical prediction are time-consuming and costly and hardly affordable to accelerate the discovery of commercial EUVL materials. In this work, we employed the machine learning (ML) technique to predict the ionization potential of promising EUVL materials, which is closely related to the photoresists' solubility switch.

Purpose: A palatal fistula following the closure of palatal clefts remains a difficult clinical complication. Surgical treatment of fistulas is often complicated, with high recurrence rates. We present our results of fistula closure augmented with GTR, a resorbable membrane designed to promote guided tissue regeneration.

The characters of σ- and π-holes of bromopentafluorobenzene (C6F5Br) enable it to interact with an electron-rich atom or group like pyridine which possesses an electron lone-pair N atom and a π ring. Theoretical studies of intermolecular interactions between C6F5Br and C5H5N have been carried out at the M06-2X/aug-cc-pVDZ level without and with the counterpoise method, together with single point calculations at M06-2X/TZVP, wB97-XD/aug-cc-pVDZ and CCSD(T)/aug-cc-pVDZ levels. The σ- and π-holes of C6F5Br exhibiting positive electrostatic potentials make these sites favorably interact with the N atom and the π ring of C5H5N with negative electrostatic potentials, leading to five different dimers connected by a σ-holen bond, a σ-holeπ bond or a π-holeπ bond.

Objective: To investigate the maturation of individual bones on the hand and wrist in children with central precocious puberty (CPP) and idiopathic short stature (ISS).

Methods: Hand and wrist films of 25 children with CPP, 29 children with ISS and 21 normal controls were evaluated by conventional Greulich-Pyle (GP) atlas method and individual bone assessment method, in which all twenty bones of the hand and wrist were evaluated based on GP atlas, including 2 radius and ulna, 7 carpal bones, 11 metacarpal and phalangeal bones, the average bone age (BA) was calculated. The differences in groups were analyzed by independent samples t test.
