Purpose: Heart failure (HF) is a clinical syndrome in which structural or functional abnormalities of the heart result in impaired ventricular filling or ejection capacity. In order to improve the adaptability of models to different patient populations and data situations. This study aims to develop predictive models for HF risk using six machine learning algorithms, providing valuable insights into the early assessment and recognition of HF by clinical features.

Article Synopsis
  • The experiment aimed to analyze the microorganisms in meibomian gland secretions from patients with internal hordeolum before and after treatment with hypochlorous acid eyelid wipes to understand how this treatment works.
  • The study involved eight patients, collecting samples before and after a week of using eyelid wipes, and used advanced sequencing to compare microbial flora in both groups.
  • Results showed no significant differences in overall microbial diversity at the phylum level, but distinct changes in microbial communities emerged at the class level after treatment, indicating that eyelid cleaning affects the microbial makeup without altering overall biodiversity.
