Aim: To assess the efficacy and safety of Dipeptidyl Peptidase IV (DPP-4) inhibitors in patients with Type-2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM) and chronic kidney disease (CKD) using level 1 evidence.
Methods: The Cochrane and PubMed databases were searched from inception until January 1, 2022. RCTs that studied the efficacy and safety of DPP-4 inhibitors in diabetic patients with CKD were included.
Unlabelled: This study aims to assess the trends of emergency department (ED) visits among kidney transplant recipients in a high-volume transplant centre.
Methods: This retrospective cohort study targeted patients who underwent renal transplantation at a high-volume transplant centre from 2016 to 2020. The main outcomes of the study were ED visits within 30 days, 31-90 days, 91-180 days, and 181-365 days of transplantation.
Nonaccidental injuries (NAI) in pediatric primary care in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region refer to intentional injuries inflicted on children, usually by a caregiver or a family member. The region has seen an increase in nonaccidental injuries in recent years, and healthcare providers have a crucial role in identifying and managing the cases. The aim of research on nonaccidental injuries in pediatric primary care in the GCC region is to identify objective assessment tools and evaluate trends in the region.

Classical cancer treatment regimens, such as chemotherapy or radiotherapy, can be used to treat lung cancer, but the appended adverse effects limit them.
