Background: Oxidative stress is known to play a key role in the occurrence of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) as the most common cause of anovulatory infertility. The purpose of the current study was to investigate whether diminished activity of ovarian enzymes responsible for hydrogen sulfide (HS) production, cystathionine β-synthase (CBS), and cystathionine γ-lyase (CSE) contributes to oxidative stress in PCOS. The study also explored whether administration of sodium hydrosulfide (NaSH), an HS donor, could ameliorate PCOS symptoms by reducing oxidative stress.

Methods: We conducted a qualitative study using content analysis. The search method involved reviewing published guidelines on preventing and responding to the COVID-19 pandemic in workplaces.
Background And Purpose: The workplace plays a key role in impacting the health and well-being of employees at various levels, including physical, psychological, and social aspects of health. This study aims to identify the drivers of a healthy environment that promotes the well-being of women employed in hospitals.
Materials & Methods: This qualitative study used purposive sampling to recruit a total of 48 working women across a diverse range of participants with different job categories and socio-demographic statuses.
Introduction: Workplaces are high-risk environments for epidemic transmission, and the COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted the significant impacts that health emergencies can have on both the healthcare system and the economy. This study presents executive and hierarchical models for participatory response to health emergencies in the workplace, with a focus on COVID-19.
Methods: The study was conducted in three phases.
Citrus tristeza virus (CTV) is one of the economically destructive viruses affecting citrus trees worldwide, causing significant losses in fruit production. Comparative genomic studies have shown genetic diversity in various regions of the genome of CTV isolates, which has classified the virus into several genotypes. In recent years, some orange citrumelo-tolerant rootstocks showed yellowing, decline, and vein clearing in northern Iran (Mazandaran province, Sari).

Taking rapid measures to reduce these problems requires effective and efficient decisions by various departments and headquarters in a country. The purpose of this study was to investigate the role and responsibilities of the National Anti-Corona Headquarters (NACH) in the workplace during the pandemic.

This would be achieved by recalling a nonlinear coherent states approach, as well as a particular class of Gilmore-Perelomov-type of SU(1,1) coherent state and a class of SU(2) coherent state. We then examine the role of photon addition and nonlinearity functions in the phase space structure and sub-Poissonianity of even, odd, and Yurke-Stoler nonlinear cat states.

Herein, we proposed that experience of sleep disruption and/or restriction after myocardial infarction (MI) may aggravate cardiac extracellular matrix remodeling and induce apoptosis in the cardiomyocytes. MI was induced in adult male rats by permanent ligation of the left anterior descending coronary artery.

In experimental studies on the antiarrhythmic effects of different agents, using anesthetic drugs that do not have any protective properties are preferable. The present study was conducted to investigate molecular mechanisms involved in the antiarrhythmic effects of ketamine/xylazine (K/X).

A high percentage of hospital staff in Iran are women, who in addition to heavy and stressful hospital work, also carry the burden of the family roles. It is in these circumstances that creating a supportive environment for women is of particular importance.

This project was designed to gain knowledge on novel color-related variants using genotyping-by-sequencing (GBS). The association between the SNPs and coat color was tested using MLM (mixed linear models) with kinship matrix.

This study aimed to investigate the status of happiness in students of Iran University of Medical Sciences and its relationship with students' attitudes toward the field of education and the future of career in 2017.
Materials And Methods: This cross-sectional study was performed on 500 students of Iran University of Medical Sciences The data collection tool was a questionnaire consisting of three parts: demographic information, Oxford Happiness Inventory; A questionnaire was used to measure students' attitudes about their career future, which was completed by students of Iran University of Medical Sciences.
Congenital disorders of glycosylation (CDG) are a heterogeneous group of systemic disorders characterized by defects in glycosylation of lipids and proteins. One of the rare subtypes of CDG is CDG-Ij (MIM # 608093), which is caused by pathogenic mutations in , a gene encoding UDP-N-acetylglucosaminedolichyl-phosphate N-acetylglucosaminephosphotransferase enzyme. This enzyme catalyzes the first step of oligosaccharide synthesis in glycoprotein biosynthesis pathway.

Male rats were divided into seven groups (n=8-13) subjected to 30min ischemia and 120 min reperfusion. In protocol I (control group), saline was administered before ischemia.

MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are also a critical constituent of pivotal posttranscriptional regulatory pathways. One of such interactions is a competing endogenous RNA interaction that connects small and long non-coding RNAs with coding transcripts.

Like other types of violence, workplace violence and aggression are an increasing phenomenon. Moreover, workplace violence not only disrupts interpersonal and organizational relationships, but it also impairs the persons self-esteem and affects their physical and mental health and well-being.

Although therapeutic concentrations of voriconazole (VCZ) have been documented for infected skin, there is no evidence specifying whether specific dermatologic side effects could predict high VCZ serum concentration, especially in high-risk leukemic children.
Case Report: Herein, we report a unique skin side effect of VCZ in a 5-year-old boy with T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) referred to Amir Medical Oncology Center in Shiraz, Iran.
For thousands of years, camels have produced meat, milk, and fiber in harsh desert conditions. For a sustainable development to provide protein resources from desert areas, it is necessary to pay attention to genetic improvement in camel breeding. By using genotyping-by-sequencing (GBS) method we produced over 14,500 genome wide markers to conduct a genome- wide association study (GWAS) for investigating the birth weight, daily gain, and body weight of 96 dromedaries in the Iranian central desert.
