Sclerosing mesenteritis (SM) is an uncommon disorder characterized by chronic nonspecific inflammation involving the adipose tissue of the mesentery. The etiology remains unclear. It has been reported in association with and as an initial presentation in some autoimmune diseases.

Sub-acute combined degeneration with an initially normal level of vitamin B12: a case report.

Introduction: The neurological manifestation of vitamin B12 deficiency can occur as a result of peripheral nerve pathology or lateral and posterior column involvement, also known as "sub-acute combined degeneration". This case report demonstrates an unusual presentation of SCD with normal B12 level.

Transient thyrotoxicosis as an initial presentation of rheumatoid arthritis: a case report.

Introduction: Few reports in the literature describe the association of rheumatoid arthritis and transient thyrotoxicosis. We report a case of rheumatoid arthritis and painless thyroiditis presenting simultaneously and acutely with a cluster of symptoms that initially made the diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis very challenging.

Inflammation of actinic keratosis with combination of alkylating and taxane agents: a case report.

Introduction: Carboplatin and docetaxel are chemotherapy agents that are used to treat some malignancies. This combination has not been documented to date to cause an inflammation of a preexisting actinic keratosis. One previous report has described inflammation of AK lesions after the use of docetaxel alone.
