Aims: A series of cases with chronic subdural hematoma operated upon by residents in neurosurgery is analysed.
Materials And Methods: 159 patients treated between 1998 and 2001 were included in the study. Mean age was 76.
Objective And Importance: Soft tissue arteriovenous hemangiomas (AHs) are benign vascular hamartomas characterized by the presence of arteriovenous shunts. Few cases of soft tissue AHs have been found in the literature, and these were frequently described as cutaneous lesions of the limb or of the scalp. Intramuscular AHs are extremely rare.
