Aim: The development of robotic assistance has made dissection and suturing in the deep pelvis much easier. The augmented quality of the images and the articulation of the robotic arms have also enabled a more precise dissection. The aim of this study is to present the data on robotic-assisted ventral mesh rectopexy procedures in a university hospital and examine the literature in terms of mesh erosion.

Treatment for this disorder is complex because it can enhance other, latent, problems. The aim of the present study is to describe a new robotic-assisted technique to simultaneously treat prolapses of different compartments with the use of a single titanized polypropylene mesh.

However, despite good anatomical results, the improvement of functional symptoms (constipation or incontinence) cannot always be obtained and in some cases these symptoms may even worsen. The aim of the present study was to identify possible predictors of functional failure after VMR.

Here we report the case of a 27-year-old patient from French Polynesia who was diagnosed with Philadelphia chromosome-negative B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia. After induction chemotherapy, she developed rhinosinusitis with extensive bone lysis.

Methods: All adult patients with PGFL, consecutively enrolled into the multicenter French study between 1990 and 2017, were evaluated and followed up prospectively after undergoing a complete work-up.
Obinutuzumab and lenalidomide (referred to as the GALEN combination) is an active immunomodulatory combination with a manageable safety profile in multiple types of lymphoma. We report efficacy and safety results for the phase 2 GALEN study in previously untreated patients with advanced follicular lymphoma (FL). Eligible patients aged ≥18 years had an Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group performance status ≤2 and high-tumor burden, grade 1 to 3a FL.

The aim of our study was to evaluate the impact of conversion on postoperative and oncologic outcomes in patients undergoing MIRS for cancer.
Methods: From June 2011 to March 2020, we reviewed 257 minimally invasive rectal resections for cancer recorded in a prospectively maintained database, with 192 robotic and 65 laparoscopic approaches.
Direction finding (DF) systems are used to determine the direction-of-arrival (DoA) of electromagnetic waves, thus allowing for the tracking of RF sources. In this paper, we present an alternative formulation of antenna arrays for modeling DF systems. To improve the accuracy of the data provided by the DF systems, the effects of mutual coupling in the array, polarization of the received waves, and impedance mismatches in the RF front-end receiver are all taken into account in the steering vectors of the DoA algorithms.

Among 2449 FL patients enrolled in Lymphoma Study Association (LYSA) trials, 1921 cases with sufficient material underwent a central pathologic review. The resulting diagnoses comprised 89.

The low abundance of Hodgkin/Reed-Sternberg (HRS) cells in lymph node biopsies in classical Hodgkin lymphoma (cHL) complicates the analysis of somatic genetic alterations in HRS cells. As circulating cell-free DNA (cfDNA) contains circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) from HRS cells, we prospectively collected cfDNA from 177 patients with newly diagnosed, mostly early-stage cHL in a monocentric study at Leuven, Belgium (n = 59) and the multicentric BREACH study by Lymphoma Study Association (n = 118). To catalog the patterns and frequencies of genomic copy number aberrations (CNAs), cfDNA was sequenced at low coverage (0.

An attenuated dose of chemotherapy-cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, vincristine, and prednisone plus rituximab (R-miniCHOP)-is a good compromise between efficacy and safety in very elderly patients. In combination with R-CHOP (R2-CHOP), lenalidomide has an acceptable level of toxicity and may mitigate the negative prognosis of the non-germinal center B-cell-like phenotype.

The present study analyzes all the robotic procedures and their advantages in the treatment of C-POP performed in a Proctologic and Pelvic Floor Clinical Centre. All the patients affected by C-POP who had robot-assisted surgery were retrospective analyzed.

Methods: In this study, we retrospectively analyzed patients with PTCL treated with BV-ICE in our center between July 2014 and March 2018.
The introduction and diffusion of new techniques for hemorrhoidal surgery have made it clear how much Goligher classification is inadequate in the modern times, lacking in any correlation between anatomical and clinical features to a surgical procedure. The aim of the study was to evaluate if the application of a new classification of hemorrhoidal diseases might lead to an improvement in the postoperative surgical outcomes. From January 2014 to December 2015, all patients undergoing surgery for hemorrhoidal disease were enrolled.

We characterized the gastric mucosal inflammatory response associated with gastric MALT lymphoma (GML) and identified APRIL-producing cells in two model systems: an APRIL transgenic mouse model of GML induced by Helicobacter infection (Tg-hAPRIL) and human gastric biopsy samples from Helicobacter pylori-infected GML patients. In the mouse model, polarization of T helper 1 (tbet), T helper 2 (gata3), and regulatory T cell (foxp3) responses was evaluated by quantitative PCR.
