Objective: to understand how variables strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats make it possible to characterize work in Primary Health Care, to collectively propose strategies for systematizing this process with Family Health teams.
Methods: methodological research, with 23 participants in direct relationship with Primary Care, including representatives of segments: care (work), management and social control. In one of the three pedagogical meetings, the SWOT matrix was used as a tool for organizational work planning.
Objective: To report the participatory management experience of a Family Health Strategy by means of community assemblies.
Methods: Community assemblies were performed with the population of a Family Health Strategy center in the city of Criciúma/SC. The meetings occurred between 2016 and 2017, including health care professionals, managers, members of the organized civil society and the healthcare system clients.

As mental health goes beyond the simple absence of mental disorders, this paper characterized mental health components in 89 underground coal miners in southern Brazil. This is a cross-sectional study, that detected a low prevalence of depression; light or moderate anxiety in 13% of the workers; self-perception of good health; life quality and good psychological capacity in most of the participants; poor sleep quality in half of them; reverse correlations between anxiety and life quality, and anxiety and psychological capital; positive correlations between psychological capital and life quality; associations between self-perception of health, time, and sleep quality; associations between anxiety and sleep duration and quality; and between alcohol consumption and location at work (front, rear, or variable). The results suggest vulnerabilities regarding anxiety and sleep quality.

We tried to make a thoughtful articulation about principles of transformative praxis presented by the philosopher Adolfo Sánchez Vázquez with the precepts of permanent education in health and nursing work. This articulation presents an educational concept in favor of the subject-worker's awareness about the distinct contributions of personal, social, relational and institutional arrangements that may result from different ways of perceiving and practicing permanent education in health and nursing work.

This documentary, quantitative, exploratory-descriptive retrospective research was guided by the active search for products in the Lattes curriculum of previously selected NERG researchers, based on the 2006 Census of the Research Group Directory/CNPq, between 1995 and 2008. The results indicated that the 18 NERG from southern Brazil produced 453 papers in proceedings, 371 book chapters, 206 books, 1,437 scientific articles and 08 technological products, but no patent was registered.

Purpose: This study analyzed the continued nursing education process in three university hospitals in southern Brazil. Its theoretical reference was centered upon the problematization pedagogy of Freire and the levels of practice of Vázquez.
Methods: This was a qualitative case study, based on multiple holistic cases.
This paper is a theoretical reflection on the possibilities of Permanent Education at work as a means to care for the caregiver. Educational practices are used to value caregiver's creativity, participation, and autonomy, bearing in mind his/her uniqueness in diversity. It indicates the possibility of education as an act of care, by inter-relating these two actions, and setting up the Educating and Caring process that occurs in the work setting and includes attitudes and responsibilities.

It shows furthermore that, to the professional exert the care and education, he must use a "passport" that conducts him to different "scales" of knowledge in a creative, aesthetical, ethical, political and technical approach.
