The Efficacy of Dienogest in Reducing Disease and Pain Recurrence After Endometriosis Surgery: a Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis.

The objective of this study is to determine whether dienogest therapy after endometriosis surgery reduces the risk of recurrence compared with placebo or alternative treatments (GnRH agonist, other progestins, and estro-progestins). The design used in this study is systematic review with meta-analysis. The data source includes PubMed and EMBASE searched up to March 2022.

Clinical management of hypertensive disorders in postpartum women.

Hypertensive disorders of pregnancy (HDP) could persist post-partum, or appear for the first time after delivery and could require a pharmacological treatment. It was found no evidence in literature about which therapy should be used in puerperal hypertension. The aim of this review is to determine the most effective therapy and best in terms of risk-benefit ratio for the treatment of high postpartum systemic arterial blood pressure in women with pregnancy-induced hypertension (PIH) or in those with de-novo diagnosis of hypertension in the puerperium.

Update on surgical treatment of female stress urinary incontinence.

Introduction: Urinary incontinence is a common condition that negatively impacts quality of life of millions of women. Pulmonary and pleural metastasis mimicking COVID-19 infection in stage IV ovarian cancer: a case report.

Background: The differential diagnosis of lung and pleural metastases and coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) can be challenging.

Case: We report a case of a 41-year-old woman with FIGO (International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics) stage IV ovarian cancer with pleural and pulmonary spread. After primary cytoreduction was performed, she developed a high fever and worsening dyspnea with desaturation (92% in ambient air).
