The mesopause-lower thermosphere (MLT) region is an important spatial region in the Earth's atmosphere, making it a valuable area to investigate the temperature variations. Kirchhoff's law fails with the altitude increase due to the non-local thermal equilibrium effect, resulting in an increase in the error of the method to retrieve the atmospheric temperature in the MLT region using the A-band spectral line intensity. In the non-LTE state, the temperature retrieval method based on the Einstein coefficients is proposed to retrieve atmospheric temperature in the 92-140 km height range using the airglow radiation intensity images obtained from the Michelson Interferometer for global high-resolution thermospheric imaging (MIGHTI) measurements.

Background: Increasing evidence indicates that the gut microbiota (GM) is linked to cardiovascular disease (CVD). Many studies on the GM in CVD have been published in the last decade. However, bibliometric analysis in this field is still lacking.

In this paper, a Na lidar permitting full-diurnal-cycle observation of the metal Na layer over Beijing, China (40.5°N, 116°E) was reported.

Methods: From January 2015 to March 2018, 20 knees in 20 patients (18 female, 2 male) with a mean age of 21 ± 4.2 years (range, 16 to 28 years) were retrospectively reviewed.

The time-resolved spectra of the air-breakdown plasma produced by the 1.06 microns beam of a Nd:YAG laser were investigated by using the time-delayed spectra and the spectral line evolution methods. The time evolutions of the short wavelength band and long wavelength band of the continuous spectra of the air-breakdown plasma have been measured.
