Human behavior recognition plays a crucial role in the field of smart education. It offers a nuanced understanding of teaching and learning dynamics by revealing the behaviors of both teachers and students. In this study, to address the exigencies of teaching behavior analysis in smart education, we first constructed a teaching behavior analysis dataset called EuClass.

A heterogeneous interface usually plays a versatile role in modulating catalysis and the durability of hybrid electrocatalysts for oxygen evolution reaction (OER), and its intrinsic mechanism is still in dispute due to an uncertain correlation of initial, intermediate and active phases. In this article, the CoMoO·0.69HO/CoO heterogeneous interface is configured to understand the evolution kinetics of these correlated phases.

Efficient coupling of a quantum cascade laser to a few-mode chalcogenide fiber.

We report efficient coupling of a quantum cascade laser (QCL) into step-index chalcogenide fibers (As S ). Mechanically robust and low-loss chalcogenide fibers were fabricated using a hybrid, multi-material thermal drawing process. With suitable free-space optics, more than 160 mW of optical power was coupled into the fiber with predominantly single-mode excitation.

Preliminary Screening Results of Fabry Disease in Kidney Transplantation Patients: A Single-Center Study.

Fabry disease (FD) is a rare X-linked lysosomal storage disorder caused by the deficiency of alfa-galactosidase A (AGALA) and leads to progressive impairment of renal function in almost all male patients and in a significant proportion of female patients. FD is underdiagnosed or even misdiagnosed in patients undergoing kidney transplantation. We initiated a selective screening study for FD among kidney transplant patients in our center.

Determination of the quality of stripe-marked and cracked eggs during storage.

Objective: Stripe marks, which occasionally occur on the shell, do not cause breakage to the shell and shell membranes of eggs. This study investigated the quality of intact eggs (IEs), minor stripe-marked eggs (MEs), severe stripe-marked eggs (SEs), and cracked eggs (CEs) during 3-week storage at 25°C.

Methods: Shell eggs were collected the day after being laid and were washed.
