Ovarian Clear Cell Adenocarcinoma With Low 68 Ga-FAPI-46 and Low 18 F-FDG Uptake on PET/CT : A Case Report.

A 67-year-old woman presented with a 12 × 20 × 24-cm adnexal tumor. Ultrasonography revealed an irregular, multilocular tumor, with increased flow in the solid components, and ascites-features that are consistent with ovarian cancer. The patient underwent 18 F-FDG PET/CT and 68 Ga-FAPI-46 PET/CT, both of which showed low uptake values.

Examples of best practices help us refine and develop the theoretical groundings of UD in academia and the practical implementation in design practices. Visual Impairment and Lighting: Comparing Guidelines and Illumination in Homes.

Universal Design aims to ensure that as many people as possible can participate equally in society, with equal access to housing, education, workplaces, institutions, and public spaces. In the construction field, many of our existing guidelines still need to catch up regarding the diversity of user needs and preferences. Recent developments in low vision rehabilitation have underscored the pivotal role of domestic lighting in fostering independent living and enhancing the quality of life for people with visual impairments.

Predicting Malignancy in Adnexal Tumors With FAPI PET/CT and FDG PET/CT: A Case Report on a Borderline Ovarian Tumor.

A 54-year-old woman presented with a 55 × 64-mm tumor in the ovary with high [ 18 F]FDG uptake on [ 18 F]FDG PET/CT highly suggestive of ovarian cancer. Prior to surgery, the patient underwent [ 68 Ga]-Ga- fibroblast activation protein inhibitor (FAPI)-46 PET/CT, which revealed low [ 68 Ga]-Ga-FAPI-46 tumor uptake. Histopathology revealed a borderline ovarian tumor, which has low malignant potential and a 10-year survival rate greater than 93%.

Supporting breastfeeding for women with low education levels, psychosocial problems, and/or socioeconomic constraints: a scoping review protocol.

Objective: This scoping review aims to identify and map interventions and/or strategies used to support the initiation and continuation of breastfeeding for women at risk of delaying initiation, early cessation, or not breastfeeding due to low levels of education, psychosocial problems, and/or socioeconomic challenges in high-income countries.

Introduction: While breastfeeding has lifelong beneficial health effects for women and infants, there is a risk of delaying initiation, early cessation, or not initiating breastfeeding at all due to factors related to health inequalities, such as low levels of education, psychosocial problems, and/or socioeconomic constraints.

Inclusion Criteria: This review will include eligible quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methods studies, as well as systematic reviews and gray literature.

Screening outcome of HPV-vaccinated women: Data from the Danish Trial23 cohort study.

Background: Danish women-who were HPV-vaccinated as girls-are now reaching an age where they are invited to cervical cancer screening. Because of their expected lower cervical cancer risk, we must reassess our screening strategies. We analyzed Danish HPV-vaccinated women's outcomes after the first screening test at age 23.

Methods: Identification of all cases of adenocarcinoma in situ treated by loop electrosurgical excision procedure at our institution and follow-up by a conservative strategy. Completeness of the identification of all cases was secured by data from the National Pathology Registry.

Indeterminate thyroid cytology in an iodine-deficient population: Prevalence, operation rate, risk of malignancy anddiagnostic value of thyroid scintigraphy and F-FDG PET imaging parameters.

Objective: Patients with indeterminate thyroid cytology often have a diagnostic hemithyroidectomy. The role of molecular imaging, particularly fluorine-18-fluorodeoxyglucose (F-FDG) positron emission tomography (PET), is controversial, and demographic variations in tumor prevalence and histology influence test performance and clinical utility. Lifting the discrepancy between experimental results and the theoretical predictions for the catalytic activity of RuO(110) towards oxygen evolution reaction.

Developing new efficient catalyst materials for the oxygen evolution reaction (OER) is essential for widespread proton exchange membrane water electrolyzer use. Both RuO(110) and IrO(110) have been shown to be highly active OER catalysts, however DFT predictions have been unable to explain the high activity of RuO. We propose that this discrepancy is due to RuO utilizing a different reaction pathway, as compared to the conventional IrO pathway.

Follow-up After Loop Electrosurgical Excision of Cervical Intraepithelial Neoplasia: The Use of Combined Cytology and Human Papillomavirus Testing.

Objectives: The aims of the study were to investigate how many women after 1 or 2 follow-up examinations, based on combined cervical cytology and human papillomavirus (HPV) testing, could finish posttreatment follow-up and continue with the general screening program and to determine the 5-year risk of recurrence in this group.

Methods: This is a prospective observational study that includes women, who underwent loop electrosurgical excision procedure (LEEP) in the North Denmark Region, from January 1, 2012, to May 31, 2014. All included women had histologically verified diagnosis of high-grade cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN 2+) or adenocarcinoma in situ (AIS) before LEEP and posttreatment follow-up with cervical cytology and HPV combination testing.

Spontaneous utero-cutaneous fistula between a benign uterine leiomyoma and abdominal skin: A case report.

The case of a 56-year-old woman with a fibroid uterus who developed utero-cutaneous fistula is presented. The woman was para 0, had an unremarkable medical history, and had no prior diagnosis of a gynecologic pathology, no operative interventions involving the uterine wall or any other risk factor for fistula. Abdominal examination revealed an abdominal mass with overlying deep, purulent ulceration.

Context • Chronically ill patients who have failed standard medical assessment and therapies are often assessed by integrative medical providers for atypical manifestations of allergies as the possible source or contributing factor(s) to their condition. Skin testing and immunoglobulin E (IgE) allergy panels increase the cost of care in these patients. Objective • The objective of this study was to determine the accuracy of autonomic response testing (ART) as compared with IgE allergy panel blood tests.

In vitro characterization of electrochemically compacted collagen matrices for corneal applications.

Loss of vision due to corneal disease is a significant problem worldwide. Transplantation of donor corneas is a viable treatment option but limitations such as short supply and immune-related complications call for alternative options for the treatment of corneal disease. A tissue engineering-based approach using a collagen scaffold is a promising alternative to develop a bioengineered cornea that mimics the functionality of native cornea.

How to Frame Universal Workspace Lighting.

In 2012 the headquarters for the umbrella organisation 'Disabled people's organisation Denmark' opened, an office building that offers workspace for the administrations of all the member organisations. The ambition for the building was to be the most accessible office building in the world; regardless of disability everybody should be able to move around in the house and work in any of the offices. One, of many ambitions, was to design a functional and effective lighting scheme using as much daylight as possible, and integrating the artificial lighting design and daylight design.

Do Performance-Based Codes Support Universal Design in Architecture?

The research project 'An analysis of the accessibility requirements' studies how Danish architectural firms experience the accessibility requirements of the Danish Building Regulations and it examines their opinions on how future regulative models can support innovative and inclusive design - Universal Design (UD). The empirical material consists of input from six workshops to which all 700 Danish Architectural firms were invited, as well as eight group interviews. The analysis shows that the current prescriptive requirements are criticized for being too homogenous and possibilities for differentiation and zoning are required.

Retracing Circulating Tumour Cells for Biomarker Characterization after Enumeration.

Background: Retracing and biomarker characterization of individual circulating tumour cells (CTCs) may potentially contribute to personalized metastatic cancer therapy. This is relevant when a biopsy of the metastasis is complicated or impossible to acquire.

Methods: A novel disc format was used to map and retrace individual CTCs from breast-cancer patients and nucleated cells from healthy blood donors using the CytoTrack platform.

Breastfeeding progression in preterm infants is influenced by factors in infants, mothers and clinical practice: the results of a national cohort study with high breastfeeding initiation rates.

Background And Aim: Many preterm infants are not capable of exclusive breastfeeding from birth. To guide mothers in breastfeeding, it is important to know when preterm infants can initiate breastfeeding and progress. [A short form of the positions on nursing diagnosis scale: development and psychometric testing].

The Positions on Nursing Diagnosis (PND) is a scale that uses the semantic differential technique to measure nurses' attitudes towards the nursing diagnosis concept. The aim of this study was to develop a shortened form of the Spanish version of this scale and evaluate its psychometric properties and efficiency. A double theoretical-empirical approach was used to obtain a short form of the PND, the PND-7-SV, which would be equivalent to the original.

Factors associated with exclusive breastfeeding of preterm infants. Results from a prospective national cohort study.

Background And Aim: Evidence-based knowledge of how to guide the mothers of preterm infants in breastfeeding establishment is contradictive or sparse.
