Considering the discharge of a patient who has been hospitalized for a long period of time requires reflection at different levels and is based on a major challenge, that of integrating a new model of care. The clinical situation presented allows us to highlight both the caregiving skills and the impact on the group that this implies in a clearly defined dynamic: mobilizing the patient's resources.
