The aim of this study was to analyse the effect of breathing parameters, age, gender and disease status on the lung doses of the two ICS + LABA fixed combination dry powder drugs. Breathing parameters of 113 COPD patients were measured while inhaling through emptied NEXThaler® and Ellipta® inhalers and the corresponding lung doses were calculated. Lung dose of Foster® NEXThaler® was superior to the lung dose of Relvar® Ellipta® in around 85 % of the patients.

Cognitive motivation (COM) in conjunction with self-regulation (SR) was demonstrated to be positively linked to mental health in educational and clinical contexts. Cerebral pericytes are mural cells covering brain microvessels, organized as ensheathing, mesh and thin-strand pericytes. These latter two, together called capillary pericytes, have low levels of alpha smooth muscle actin (α-SMA), regulating basal vascular tone and applying a slow influence on cerebral blood flow. A unique compound (compound ) with structural features including an unprecedented tridentate-bridging coordination mode of permanganate ions and an eight-coordinated (rhombohedral) κ-chlorido and tridentate permanganato ligand in a potassium complex containing coordination polymer (Co(NH)][(K(κ-Cl)(μ-(κ-O,O',O″-MnO))) with isolated regular octahedral hexamminecobalt(III) cation was synthesized with a yield of >90%.
