Non-clear cell renal cell carcinomas (non-ccRCCs) encompass diverse malignant and benign tumors. Refinement of differential diagnosis biomarkers, markers for early prognosis of aggressive disease, and therapeutic targets to complement immunotherapy are current clinical needs. Multi-omics analyses of 48 non-ccRCCs compared with 103 ccRCCs reveal proteogenomic, phosphorylation, glycosylation, and metabolic aberrations in RCC subtypes.

Although FragPipe produces well-formatted output tables that are ready for analysis, there is still a need for an easy-to-use and user-friendly downstream statistical analysis and visualization tool. FragPipe-Analyst addresses this need by providing an R shiny web server to assist FragPipe users in conducting downstream analyses of the resulting quantitative proteomics data.

Aims: The objective of this study was to estimate the nationwide annual incidence, healthcare utilization, and mortality among hospitalized heart failure (HF) patients in Taiwan.
Methods And Results: People aged 20 years or older and having been newly admitted for HF between 2010 and 2015 were identified from Taiwan's National Health Insurance Research Database. For 124 816 patients with incident HF hospitalizations between 2010 and 2012, we further analysed their treatment patterns, healthcare utilizations, and mortality during index hospitalization and within 3 years following discharge from the index hospitalization.

Background: Components of physical frailty cluster into subtypes, but it remains unknown how these might be associated with age-related functional declines and multimorbidities. This study aims to investigated associations of physical frailty subtypes with functional declines and multimorbidity in a 10 year longitudinal cohort survey.
Methods: Complementary longitudinal cohort study used group-based multitrajectory modelling to verify whether frailty subtypes discovered in Taiwan are presented in another aging cohort, then investigated associations of these subtypes with cognitive decline and multimorbidity.
Objective: To analyze differences in functional brain images collected in patients with type 2 and type 1 narcolepsy compared to normal controls and the relationship among brain images, objective neuropsychologic tests, and sleep findings.
Methods: Data collection included comprehensive clinical investigation, study of sleep/wake with actigraphy, polysomnography, Multiple Sleep Latency Test, human leukocyte antigen typing, F-fluorodeoxyglucose PET, and cognitive tests obtained from 29 patients with type 2 narcolepsy, 104 patients with type 1 narcolepsy, and 26 sex- and age-matched normal control individuals. Conners' Continuous Performance Test (CPT II) and Wisconsin Card-Sorting Task were performed simultaneously with the FDG-PET examination.
Objective: The aim of this population-based study is to examine the adverse events (AE) associated with longitudinal systemic glucocorticoid (GC) use among an ethnic Chinese systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) cohort.
Methods: Our study subjects were patients with newly diagnosed SLE aged 18 and older who received at least 1 prescription of systemic GC between 2001 and 2012 from Taiwan's National Health Insurance Research Database (NHIRD). The earliest prescription date of systemic GC for each subject was defined as the index date.
Background: The use of bisphosphonates has been reported to have potential beneficial effects on knee osteoarthritis, but existing studies have limitations. The purpose of this study was to examine the association of bisphosphonate use with the risk of undergoing total knee arthroplasty and with the consumption of pain medication among osteoporotic patients with knee osteoarthritis.
Methods: We identified patients who were newly diagnosed with knee osteoarthritis among a cohort of patients with osteoporosis from 2009 to 2012 in the National Health Insurance Research Database in Taiwan.
