α-Halo borides are generally constructed Matteson homologation, and the synthesis of both fluorinated and functionalized ambiphilic boronates is challenging and has received inadequate attention. Herein, we describe the -methyliminodiacetyl boronate [B(MIDA)]-directed halogenation of alkenes a complementary sequence involving fluoroalkyl radical addition followed by guided radical-to-metal oxidative addition and C-X reductive elimination. The alkali cation and functional groups in B(MIDA) enable coulombic interaction and weak attraction with halogens, which could weaken the Pd-X bond and assist in C-X bond formation and is verified by DFT calculations.

With the development of arthroscopic techniques as well as arthroscopic surgical instruments, arthroscopic repair of bony structures has become an important surgical procedure for the treatment of recurrent shoulder dislocation. In this Technical Note, we used screws to fill Hill-Sachs lesions and autologous iliac bone grafts combined with soft tissue to repair the glenoid bone defects.

However, approaches that can effectively resolve chronic low-grade inflammation targeting monocytes are not readily available. The small chemical compound 4-phenylbutyric acid (4-PBA) exhibits broad anti-inflammatory effects in reducing atherosclerosis.

Dysbiosis of the gut microbiota is implicated in the increasing prevalence of food allergy, which will need to be regulated to enable for an effective oral immunotherapy against food allergy. Here we report an inulin gel formulated with an allergen that normalizes the dysregulated ileal microbiota and metabolites in allergic mice, establishes allergen-specific oral tolerance and achieves robust oral immunotherapy efficacy with sustained unresponsiveness in food allergy models.

Some unstable lattice O species in Ni-rich cathodes would be oxidized to singlet oxygen O and released at high volt, which lead to irreversible phase transfer from the layered rhombohedral (R) phase to a spinel-like (S) phase. To overcome the issue, the amphiphilic copolymers (UMA-F) electrolyte were prepared by linking hydrophobic C-F side chains with hydrophilic subunits, which could self-assemble on Ni-rich cathode surface and convert to stable cathode-electrolyte interphase layer.

How to avoid recurring shoulder joint dislocation is a challenge, especially when combined with Hill-Sachs lesions. The arthroscopy technology allows for broader vision and less surgical trauma but is limited by a smaller operating space.

However, achieving a balance between high energy density and extended cycling stability remains a challenge due to the Jahn-Teller distortion of Mn and anionic activity above 4.1 V.

Vascular calcification is associated with increased cardiovascular adverse events. The role of 4-hydroxynonenal (4-HNE), which is the most abundant stable product of lipid peroxidation, in vascular calcification has been poorly investigated.

To achieve this, the key fundamental challenge is the rational development of highly efficient and facile reaction pathway while establishing compatible catalytic system. Herein, through the stepwise solvent-assisted linker installation, post-synthetic fluorination and metalation, we report the construction of a series of perfluoroalkyl-decorated noble-metal-free metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) PCN-(BPY-CuI)-(TPDC-F ) [BPY=2,2'-bipyridine-5,5'-dicarboxylate, TPDC-NH =2'-amino-[1,1':4',1''-terphenyl]-4,4''-dicarboxylic acid] that can catalyze the one-pot four-component reaction between alkyne, aldehyde, amine and flue gas CO for the preparation of 2-oxazolidinones.

Materials And Methods: In this prospective study, 112 breast cancer patients who received NAC between September 2016 and March 2022 were included. The BUS and SWE data of breast cancer were obtained prior to treatment as well as after two and four cycles of NAC.
Zero-dimensional (0D) tin halide perovskites, characterized by their broadband and adjustable emissions, high photoluminescence quantum yield, and absence of self-absorption, are crucial for the fabrication of high-efficiency optoelectronic devices, such as LEDs, solar cells, and sensors. Despite these attributes, boosting their emission efficiency and stability poses a significant challenge. In this work, Cr-doped CsSnBrF perovskites were synthesized using a water-assisted wet ball-milling method.

In this paper, the responses of machined surface roughness and milling tool cutting forces under the different milling processing parameters (cutting speed , feed rate , and axial cutting depth ) are experimentally investigated to meet the increasing requirements for the mechanical machining of T2 pure copper. The effects of different milling processing parameters on cutting force and tool displacement acceleration are studied based on orthogonal and single-factor milling experiments. The three-dimensional morphologies of the workpieces are observed, and a white-light topography instrument measures the surface roughness.

The current study aims to report the novel genotypes, phenotypes, and histopathologic results of 3 pedigrees of CSVD with heterozygous mutation.

The storage of facial images in medical records poses privacy risks due to the sensitive nature of the personal biometric information that can be extracted from such images. To minimize these risks, we developed a new technology, called the digital mask (DM), which is based on three-dimensional reconstruction and deep-learning algorithms to irreversibly erase identifiable features, while retaining disease-relevant features needed for diagnosis. In a prospective clinical study to evaluate the technology for diagnosis of ocular conditions, we found very high diagnostic consistency between the use of original and reconstructed facial videos (κ ≥ 0.
