We present a comprehensive study of B^{0}→ωω decays using 772×10^{6}  BB[over ¯] pairs collected with the Belle detector at the KEKB e^{+}e^{-} collider. This process is a suppressed charmless decay into two vector mesons and can exhibit interesting polarization and CP violation. The decay is observed for the first time with a significance of 7.

This Letter details our efforts to develop novel tricyclic muscarinic acetylcholine receptor subtype 4 (M) positive allosteric modulator (PAM) scaffolds with improved pharmacological properties. This endeavor involved a "tie-back" strategy to replace the 3-amino-5-chloro-4,6-dimethylthieno[2,3-]pyridine-2-carboxamide core, which led to the discovery of two novel tricyclic cores: an 8-chloro-9-methylpyrido[3',2':4,5]thieno[3,2-]pyrimidin-4-amine core and 8-chloro-7,9-dimethylpyrido[3',2':4,5]furo[3,2-]pyrimidin-4-amine core. Both tricyclic cores displayed low nanomolar potency against human M and greatly reduced cytochrome P450 inhibition when compared with parent compound .

The Consortium of Eosinophilic Gastrointestinal disease Researchers (CEGIR) and The International Gastrointestinal Eosinophil Researchers (TIGERs) organized a daylong symposium at the 2024 annual meeting of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology. Background And Purpose: Verbal memory decline is a common complaint of patients with severe asymptomatic stenosis of the internal carotid artery (aICS). Previous publications explored the associations between verbal memory decline and altered functional connectivity (FC) after aICS. Regulatory T cells (T cells) are instrumental in establishing immunological tolerance. Tumor angiogenesis is a cancer hallmark, and its therapeutic inhibition has provided meaningful, albeit limited, clinical benefit. While anti-angiogenesis inhibitors deprive the tumor of oxygen and essential nutrients, cancer cells activate metabolic adaptations to diminish therapeutic response. Parkinson's disease (PD) is a neurodegenerative disease characterized by motor deficits and marked neuroinflammation in various brain regions. The pathophysiology of PD is complex and mounting evidence has suggested an association with the dysregulation of microRNAs (miRNAs) and gut dysbiosis. Using a rotenone-induced PD mouse model, we observed that administration of PS128 (PS128) significantly improved motor deficits in PD-like mice, accompanied by an increased level of dopamine, reduced dopaminergic neuron loss, reduced microglial activation, reduced levels of inflammatory factors, and enhanced expression of neurotrophic factor in the brain.
