Background: Ankle injuries are some of the most common injuries among footballers and can prevent players from participating in sport. The Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) developed FIFA injury prevention programs to reduce overall football injuries, but their effectiveness on a particular joint, such as the ankle, was not assessed. Therefore, this project aims to investigate if these FIFA injury prevention programs are particularly effective in reducing ankle injuries.

Knee-osteoarthritis (OA) is often associated with increased intestinal permeability, potentially causing sarcopenia, and mobility issues. Current treatments are ineffective. The objective of this study was to investigate if butyrate improves sarcopenia and physical function in knee-OA patients, and if improvements correlate with changes in gut health, specifically intestinal permeability, and bacterial load.

Background: Between half and three quarters of the working-age population in today's industrialized globe suffers from lower back pain. The presence of a myofascial trigger point-a hyperirritable painful area comprised of a small number of muscle fibers-identifies mechanical back pain sufferers as suffering from myofascial pain syndrome, a chronic pain disorder. This research objectives to determine whether mechanical back pain patients' pain severity and functional disabilities are influenced by electromagnetic field therapy.
