Article Synopsis
  • The study evaluated a fluoroscopy-free, single-use flexible ureteroscopy procedure for treating kidney stones, comparing patients with abnormal renal anatomy (Group A) to those with normal anatomy (Group B).
  • A total of 120 patients (40 with abnormal anatomy and 80 with normal) were treated, showing no significant differences in operative time, hospital stay, or stone-free rates between the two groups.
  • The procedure was mostly completed without fluoroscopy with a high stone-free rate (93%) for stones sized 10-15 mm, indicating that this method is feasible for patients with kidney stones, especially those with abnormal renal anatomy.
