Background: The relationship between pleural fluid volume and cytological diagnosis of malignancy has been often investigated with conflicting conclusions on whether or not a minimum fluid volume should be defined. The primary objective of this retrospective investigation is to evaluate the relationship between fluid volume and cytological diagnosis of malignancy.

Methods: A total of 511 body fluid specimen reports received between January 2018 and December 2019 were examined to investigate the relationship between diagnosis of malignancy to volume and biochemical properties.

Scoping review of healthcare professionals' views on intimate partner violence in the Middle East and North Africa.

Objectives: This scoping review aims to survey healthcare providers (HCPs) in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) about their knowledge, attitudes and barriers to working with women who have experienced intimate partner violence (IPV). This review aims to map the breadth of available peer-reviewed literature that may inform future educational training programmes.

Simultaneous determination of diosmin and hesperidin in combined pharmaceutical preparation by synchronous fluorescence spectrofluorimetric method.

A sensitive, rapid and green synchronous spectrofluorimetric method was developed to simultaneously analyze a binary mixture of diosmin (DSM) and hesperidin (HSP). The RSFI of both medications was measured in methanol at Δ of 100 nm. The results indicated that specific experimental factors had an impact on these intensities.
