Investigation Cytotoxicity and Curcumin Release Behavior by Pyranopyrazole-TiO@niosome Carrier for Breast Cancer Treatment.

In the present study, we present a pyranopyrazole-TiO which is encapsulated with a niosome as nanocarrier for delivery of curcumin into breast cancer cells. Nanocarrier porous TiO is biocompatible and with a high specific surface area and a large pore volume and was used to carry pyranopyrazole, which has been reported as an anti-cancer. Niosome in the outer layer, helpful for loading curcumin into the niosomal layer, demonstrates a pH-dependent release and can be effective for cancer treatment.

Comparison of the long-term and short-term protection in mouse model of Leishmania major infection following vaccination with Live Iranian Lizard Leishmania mixed with chitin microparticles.

Inducing long-term immunity is the primary goal of vaccination. Leishmanisation using non-pathogenic to human Leishmania spp. could be considered a reliable approach to immunising subjects against Leishmania infection.

The cryo-EM 3D image reconstruction of isolated Lethocerus indicus Z-discs.

The Z-disk of striated muscle defines the ends of the sarcomere, which repeats many times within the muscle fiber. Here we report application of cryoelectron tomography and subtomogram averaging to Z-disks isolated from the flight muscles of the large waterbug Lethocerus indicus. We use high salt solutions to remove the myosin containing filaments and use gelsolin to remove the actin filaments of the A- and I-bands leaving only the thin filaments within the Z-disk which were then frozen for cryoelectron microscopy.
