Article Synopsis
  • The study aimed to improve pain management after tonsillectomy by comparing two methods: individual demand-based treatment vs. a fixed-schedule analgesic protocol.
  • Forty patients were treated with each method, and pain levels, patient satisfaction, side effects, and medication needs were assessed post-surgery using a standardized questionnaire.
  • Results showed no significant differences in pain levels or patient satisfaction between the two groups, indicating that current analgesic strategies for tonsillectomy may still be inadequate and require further refinement.
