Premise: Understanding the responses of functional traits in tree species to climate variability is essential for predicting the future of tropical montane cloud forest (TMCF) tree species, especially in Andean montane environments where fog pockets act as moisture traps.
Methods: We studied the distribution of Magnolia gentryi, measured its spatial arrangement, identified local hotspots, and evaluated the extent to which climate-related factors are associated with its distribution. We then analyzed the variation in 13 functional traits of M.
is the main cause of bacterial gastroenteritis and a public health problem worldwide. Little information is available on the genotypic characteristics of human in Spain. This study is based on an analysis of the resistome, virulome, and phylogenetic relationship, antibiogram prediction, and antimicrobial susceptibility of 114 human isolates of from a tertiary hospital in southern Spain from October 2020 to June 2023.

These effects have recently been discussed by J. J.

In the paper, germanium, a scarce resource vital in our modern society, is first extracted from fly ash using water, with an extraction yield of 85%, and subsequently, the leached fly ash is used in the manufacture of fire-resistant boards containing 60% ash, thereby avoiding its disposal in a landfill. The potential environmental impact caused by the two stages of the process was analyzed, and the final effluent was considered to achieve a zero-discharge objective.

In Argentina, as in the rest of the world, cyathostomins are the most common nematodes parasitizing horses. Control is based almost exclusively on the administration of benzimidazoles, pyrimidines, and macrocyclic lactones. However, intensive use of these drugs is resulting in the development of anthelmintic resistance (AR).
