Aim: to analyze the short- and long-term outcomes of surgical treatment of patients with gastric cancer who received perioperative chemotherapy (PCT) FLOT (fluorouracil, leucovorin, oxaliplatin and docetaxel).
Materials And Methods: A retrospective cohort study included 146 patients who received surgical treatment at the Faculty Surgery Clinic of Sechenov University for gastric cancer (GC) and/or EGJC Sievert Type II-III in the period from January 2018 to December 2022. The main group consisted of 28 patients who received PCT FLOT; there were 118 patients operated "up front" in control group.
Introduction: An inguinal hernia is frequently identified in men with prostate cancer, which is likely due to similar risk factors, including age, gender and smoking.
Aim: To assess the safety and feasibility of performing concomitant robotic-assisted radical prostatectomy (RARP) and robotic-assisted transabdominal preperitoneal (TAPP) inguinal hernia repair.
Materials And Methods: We retrospectively analyzed the treatment outcomes of 23 patients who underwent RARP between January 2022 and June 2023.

In the current era of advanced technologies, robotic surgery is rapidly evolving. New articles are emerging on the use of robots in general surgery, urology, and oncology, with single cases in maxillofacial surgery. In this article, we describe the successful use of robotic techniques for simultaneously performing suturing repair of the diastasis of the rectus abdominis muscles, aesthetic correction of the anterior abdominal wall with lipoabdominoplasty, and cholecystectomy.

Material And Methods: The main group consisted of patients who underwent intraoperative angiography and fluorescence navigation with indocyanine green (=43). The control group included patients without these procedures (=154).
In recent years, predictive methods for assessing the preservation of the parathyroid glands have been actively implemented. The article describes the first experience of evaluating the blood supply of the parathyroid glands by quantitative determination of the indocyanine green (ICG) accumulation index in real time in 6 patients before and after a thyroidectomy with central neck lymph node dissection for papillary thyroid cancer. Intraoperative fluorescent angiography was performed by using domestic equipment with a fluorescent module, as well as by using a domestic medication of ICG.
