Introduction: Expression is a key aspect of music performance. Studies on pianists' gestures and expression have mainly documented the impact of their expressive intentions on proximal segments and head linear kinematics. It remains unclear how pianists' expressive intentions influence joint angular kinematics as well as exposure to risk factors of injury, such as poor overall posture and distal jerky movements, two kinematic factors linked to injury.

Multimodal Inpatient Prehabilitation Prior to Heart or Lung Transplantation in a Latin American Transplant Reference Center.

Introduction: Whether the implementation of a multimodal prehabilitation program is effective and safe for high-risk heart or lung transplantation candidates, whose condition prevents hospital discharge, is unclear.

Methods: We conducted a retrospective study at a cardiothoracic transplant center in Chile. Two cohorts of hospitalized patients listed for heart or lung transplant were studied: the first underwent traditional (historical) and nonstructured prehabilitation, and the second underwent protocol-driven multimodal prehabilitation (MP).

Connective tissue versus free gingival grafts for deep mandibular anterior recessions. A 2- to 5-year cross-sectional study.

Aim: Mandibular anterior deep gingival recessions are complex to manage in individuals who lack sufficient keratinized tissue. Echocardiogram by apical-subcostal protocol in prone position during invasive mechanical ventilation in cardiovascular intensive care unit.

Aims: To evaluate the feasibility of a transthoracic echocardiogram using an apical-subcostal protocol in invasive mechanical ventilation (IMV) and prone position.

Methods: Prospective study of adults who required a prone position during IMV. A pillow was placed only under the left hemithorax in the prone position to elevate and ease the apical and subcostal windows.
