While pandemics have long been a topic of discussion in public health, COVID-19 placed healthcare leaders in a completely new and challenging situation. This qualitative study sought to understand the personal experiences of healthcare professionals in leadership roles at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. Sixteen in-depth interviews were conducted and recorded via Zoom.

Design: Retrospective interventional case series.
Methods: Institutional clinical records between 2020 and 2024 were retrospectively reviewed for 9 consecutive patients in whom the superior oblique (SO) tendon was inserted anterior to the equator and nasal to the superior rectus muscle.
Strains of are a frequent cause of foodborne illness and are known to contaminate poultry products. Most testing methods can qualitatively detect and cannot quantify or estimate the load in samples. Therefore, the aim of this study was to standardize and validate a partitioned-based digital PCR (dPCR) assay for the detection and estimation of contamination levels in poultry rinses.
