In June 2020, 32,000 people began HIV Pre-exposure prohylaxis (PrEP) in France. The objective of this work is to propose PrEP for migrants in city medical offices in collaboration with hospitals. This is happening in the Goutte d’Or neighborhood of Paris where one-third of the inhabitants were born abroad [1].

Spatial and temporal genetic variation in Tunisian field populations of Macrosiphum euphorbiae (Thomas).

The potato aphid Macrosiphum euphorbiae (Thomas) is a major pest of several economic crops in Tunisia. Using 10 microsatellites, we analyzed five populations of M. euphorbiae sampled during the 2004-2005 solanaceous and cucurbit season (April through September) from five geographic origins.

2-Scale topography dry electrode for biopotential measurements.

The design and fabrication of a novel 2-scale topography dry electrode using macro and micro needles is presented. The macro needles enable biopotential measurements on hairy skin, the function of the micro needles is to decrease the electrode impedance even further by penetrating the outer skin layer. Also, a fast and reliable impedance characterization protocol is described.

A major difference between the divergence patterns within the lines-1 families in mice and voles.

L1 retroposons are represented in mice by subfamilies of interspersed sequences of varied abundance. Previous analyses have indicated that subfamilies are generated by duplicative transposition of a small number of members of the L1 family, the progeny of which then become a major component of the murine L1 population, and are not due to any active processes generating homology within preexisting groups of elements in a particular species. In mice, more than a third of the L1 elements belong to a clade that became active approximately 5 Mya and whose elements are > or = 95% identical.
