Training veterinarians to deal with death and the dying process: a scoping review.

The aim of this scoping review was to investigate the range of methods used to guide veterinarians in their approach to the death of their animal patients with the guiding question: how is this topic addressed in the training of veterinarians? We included studies written in Portuguese or English, with a theme aligned with the objective of the review and which answered the guiding question. Studies not fulfilling these criteria were excluded. A total of 22 complete studies were identified by searching the Scopus, Web of Science, PsycINFO and Pubmed databases/libraries, with no restrictions on the date of publication.

Perceptions of people with mental disorders regarding social support from religion and health professionals.

Objective: to analyze the perception of people with mental disorders in relation to social support from religion and from health professionals.

Method: qualitative, descriptive-exploratory study, carried out with seven members of a Christian religious institution, adults and medically diagnosed with mental disorders. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, between May and August 2021.

Factors associated with burnout in military police officers in a city in Paraná.

Objective: to analyze the association between burnout and sociodemographic, work factors, lifestyle habits and health conditions of military police officers in a municipality in the state of Paraná, Brazil.

Method: cross-sectional research with 131 military police officers. Data were analyzed using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences software and the R program.

Reasons and Expectations for Seeking Spiritual Treatment in Brazilian Spiritist Centers: A Qualitative Study.

The objective of this study is to identify the main motivations and expectations for seeking spiritual treatment (ST) in  spiritist centers. This is a qualitative study developed at two spiritist centers in the state of Mato Grosso, Brazil. ST was considered as the set of activities that use magnetic current as the main treatment method.

Religious-spiritual experiences of family members and caregivers of children and adolescents with cancer.

This integrative literature review aimed to identify the religious and spiritual experiences of family members and caregivers of children and adolescents with cancer. Through systematized searches in the databases/libraries CINAHL, PsycINFO, Pubmed, SciELO, and Lilacs, 69 articles produced between 2010 and 2020 were retrieved. There was a predominance of studies with parents developed in hospital facilities.
