[Granuloma of the cecum].

The clinical problems facing the medical practitioner in the presence of an aspecific granuloma of the caecum were studied. Clinical and aetiopathogenic aspects are analysed as are the indications for surgery. The difficulty of diagnosis and the importance of histopathological assessment for accurate diagnosis are emphasised.

[Clinico-epidemiologic study on the significance of various echographic signs in the diagnosis of thyroid diseases].

Randomised data on the epidemiology of thyroid cancer and the behaviour of a certain number of patients are presented. The survey also incorporated an assessment of thyroid echographic scans that reveal certain more frequent signs that might serve as preoperative diagnostic indicators of neoplasia.

Clinico-pathological features of collagenous colitis: case report and literature review.

Collagenous colitis is a newly identified condition, with clinical features of chronic watery diarrhea and abdominal pain. Histologically the main characteristic is the presence of a thick collagen band below the surface epithelium. Collagenous colitis occurs in adults, especially women.
