The protocols commonly used in assisted reproductive technology (ART) consist of long-term embryo culture up to the blastocyst stage after the insemination of all mature oocytes, the freezing of all the embryos produced, and their subsequent transfer one by one. These practices, along with preimplantation genetic testing, although developed to improve the live birth rate (LBR) and reduce the risk of multiple pregnancies, are drawing attention to the possible increase in obstetric and perinatal risks, and adverse epigenetic consequences in offspring. Furthermore, ethical-legal concerns are growing regarding the increase in cryopreservation and storage of frozen embryos.

Patients And Methods: 66 infertile couples undergoing ICSI treatment due to male factor were allocated to group A (33) and to group B (33). Group A (29 subjects) received recombinant FSH (r-FSH) supplemented by r-LH in the late follicular phase starting the same day of GnRH-antagonist (GnRH-ant) administration, and group B (32 subjects) received r-FSH alone.

Objective: To evaluate the efficacy of pre-treatment of idiopathic oligozoospermic patients with r-hFSH to improve the clinical results of ICSI.
Patients And Methods: 82 infertile couples due to male factor who attended our center were included in the study. Thirty-six were randomized to the treatment group (group A) and forty-six to the control group (group B).
Objective: To develop and validate a specific simple measure of insulin sensitivity using oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT) values for lean polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) women.
Design: Retrospective study.
Setting: Gynecologic Outpatient Clinic of University Hospital, affiliated with Unit of Gynecologic Endocrinology.
Objective: To evaluate the long-term effects of drospirenone (DRSP)/ethinylestradiol (EE) alone, metformin alone, and DRSP/EE-metformin on CD4(+)CD28(null) T lymphocytes frequency, a cardiovascular risk marker, in patients with hyperinsulinemic polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).
Design: Randomized clinical trial.
Interventions: Ninety three patients with hyperinsulinemic PCOS were age matched and body mass index matched and randomized to receive a 6 months daily treatment with DRSP (3 mg)/EE (0.
