Extra-medullary Plasmacytomas: A Case Series of Rare Hematological Tumors.

Solitary plasmacytoma is a rare malignant tumor belonging to the family of plasma cell proliferation. It accounts for a small portion of plasma cell tumors and remains a rare condition. We report three cases of rare extraosseous plasmacytomas in young patients.

Is Low-Dose Lung Radiotherapy for Severe COVID-19 Pneumonia a Therapeutic Alternative?

Low-dose radiotherapy (LD-RT) has historically been used to treat severe bacterial and viral pneumonia due to its immunomodulatory properties. However, this technique has been delayed since the advent of antibiotics and the carcinogenic risk associated with radiation therapy. Currently, it represents an alternative therapeutic in the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic which leads sometimes to fatal pneumonia, especially given the limited availability of effective treatments for severe forms of pneumonia.

Teleconsultation use and satisfaction among cancerologists during the COVID-19 pandemic in Morocco.

Introduction: health care benefits have undergone major changes during the COVID-19 pandemic. This has led to an explosive growth in teleconsultation services mainly for cancer patients. The purpose of this study was to assess the perception and experience of Moroccan oncologists with the use of teleconsultation during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Organ preservation strategy: new therapeutic alternative in rectal cancer.

Background: The therapeutic modalities for nonmetastatic rectal cancer are presently undergoing major changes. The standard treatment is multidisciplinary, combining radiotherapy, chemotherapy, and surgery. The aim of this minireview is to provide an update on the place of organ preservation in the treatment of nonmetastatic rectal cancer in 2022.

Primary large cell neuroendocrine carcinoma of the ovary: A rare entity.

Background: Large-cell neuroendocrine carcinoma (LCNEC) of the ovary is rare, highly aggressive tumor and diagnosed at advanced stages. Immunohistochemistry is required for the diagnosis. The optimal treatment management is not codified because of its rarity.
