Giant cerebellar cavernomas in children are rare and must be differentiated from hemorrhagic cerebellar tumors. The diagnosis and treatment of giant cerebellar cavernomas is challenging, but complete surgical resection can lead to favorable outcomes and complete neurological recovery in most cases. We present a case of eight months old baby who was diagnosed with a giant cavernoma resulting in secondary obstructive hydrocephalus with neuropsychiatric presentations.

In order to make measurements repeatable, one must be able to reliably capture images at a consistent focal plane, and with signal-to-noise ratio within appropriate limits to support proper execution of image analysis routines. Imaging chambers and imaging systems used for trypan blue analysis can be inconsistent or can drift over time, leading to a need to assure the acquisition of images prior to automated image analysis.

Objective: To analyze surgical (including minimally invasive) treatment of advanced age patients with colon cancer and severe comorbidities.
Material And Methods: Advanced age patients with colon cancer (≥60 years) were compared with younger ones. Concomitant diseases were detected in 94,4% of older patients and in 45,9% of patients in the control group (χ=51,747; <0,001).
