Objective: LGBTQ+ health research guides can strengthen the LGBTQ+ community through connecting people to quality health services and information, and previous studies have recommended that health sciences libraries create and maintain these guides. Little evidence exists, though, on how these guides are used and how well they meet the needs of LGBTQ+ users. Using retrospective data retrieved from multiple LGBTQ+ health research guides, we examined the categories of LGBTQ+ health information most used, as well as how often guides were accessed.

Human activities such as habitat degradation and fragmentation threaten biodiversity in Neotropical areas. This work proposes an analytical methodology to identify natural areas in Central America with anthropogenic impact, analyzing the presence of antimicrobial resistance genes (ARGs) in accordance with their theoretical relationship with human-related activities. Sixteen ARGs were quantified in feces of different individuals of 13 jaguars (Panthera onca) and 13 pumas (Puma concolor) in three conservation areas in Costa Rica by real-time PCR.

Methods: Children < 5 years presenting to a designated study site with an ARTI were eligible.

In this work, a novel environment-friendly stability indicating capillary zone electrophoresis (CZE) method has been developed and validated for assaying the aripiprazole (ARP) in tablet dosage form. The separation of ARP from its degradation products and internal standard was achieved using a fused silica capillary column (30.2 cm x 75 μm ID), a background electrolyte containing 6 mmol L ammonium formate buffer (pH 3) with 5% methanol under a potential of 15 kV and detection at 214 nm.
