Cis-regulatory elements (CREs) control gene expression and are dynamic in their structure and function, reflecting changes in the composition of diverse effector proteins over time. However, methods for measuring the organization of effector proteins at CREs across the genome are limited, hampering efforts to connect CRE structure to their function in cell fate and disease. Here we developed PRINT, a computational method that identifies footprints of DNA-protein interactions from bulk and single-cell chromatin accessibility data across multiple scales of protein size.

Therefore, we test two energy coaching interventions in Amsterdam: a static information group (n = 67) which received energy efficient products and one energy-use report, and a smart information group (n = 50), which also had a display providing real-time feedback on energy-use. Results across both groups, show a 75% success rate for alleviating energy poverty.

Although effective, these vaccines may cause adverse reactions at the injection site, including immunosuppression and inflammation, as well as the involvement of laborious and time-consuming procedures. Oral vaccines represent an advancement in antigen delivery technology in the vaccine industry.

Transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) is a well-established treatment for severe aortic stenosis, especially in patients over 75 or those at high surgical risk. While these prosthetic valves have a lower thrombogenic profile than mechanical heart valves, leaflet thrombosis in transcatheter aortic valves (TAV) occurs in an estimated 5%-40% of cases. Most TAV thromboses are subclinical and can be detected via cardiac computed tomography (CCT), which reveals hypo-attenuating leaflet thickening and reduced leaflet motion in asymptomatic patients without elevated transprosthetic gradients on echocardiography.

As a result, women in LMICs are frequently diagnosed with late-stage breast cancer (Stage III/IV) with a poor prognosis. We hosted a 1-day breast cancer educational conference directed towards healthcare workers in Honduras.
