The conventional widely-used health monitoring methods for rotating machines have shortcomings such as the reliance on the selection of the preset parameters. Also, the strong noise interference caused by factors such as transmission path hinders the practical application of many fault feature extraction methods. To overcome these gaps, the digital twin notion is introduced and a new digital twin architecture called the Ramanujan Digital Twin (RDT) is designed.

During proteomics data analysis, experimental spectra are searched against a user-defined protein database consisting of proteins that are reasonably expected to be present in the sample. Typically, this database contains the proteome of the organism under study concatenated with expected contaminants, such as trypsin and human keratins. However, there are additional contaminants that are not commonly added to the database.

This study presents a novel self-powered, intelligent, and self-aligning roller bearing (I-SAB) with which to monitor rotational speeds and bias angles; it also has an application in fault diagnosis. The designed I-SAB is compactly embedded with a novel sweep-type triboelectric nanogenerator (TENG).

Background And Aim: This study aims to investigate the relationship between A Body Shape Index (ABSI) Z-score and all-cause mortality among osteoporotic patients using data from the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES).
Methods And Results: We analyzed NHANES data from 2005 to 2010, 2013 to 2014, and 2017 to 2018, focusing on individuals aged 50 and above with complete bone mineral density (BMD) data. The ABSI Z-score, calculated by adjusting waist circumference (WC) for height and weight, was used to independently assess abdominal fat beyond Body Mass Index (BMI).
Uranium extraction from seawater (UES) is crucial for ensuring the sustainable development of nuclear power and has seen significant advancements in recent years. However, natural seawater is a highly complex biogeochemical system, characterized by an extremely low uranium (U) concentration (≈3.3 µg L), abundant competitive ions, and significant marine biological pollution, making UES a formidable challenge.
