Background: SARS-CoV-2 pandemic resulted in lifestyle change of world's population because of the measures adopted by governments to contain the virus spread.
Design And Methods: This study examined whether lockdown impacted anthropometric indices, Mediterranean Diet (MD) adherence, Physical Activity Level (PAL), and Quality of Life (SF-12) in a cohort of 116 patients (96 F, aged 57.2 ± 13.
This study aimed to investigate the presence of structural and functional changes in extraocular muscles (EMs) among patients with inactive Graves' orbitopathy (GO) classified according to the Clinical Activity Score (CAS). Sixty-seven patients with Graves' disease (GD) and inactive GO were included. The data collected included clinical parameters, thyroid function, autoantibody levels, EOM morphology via orbital ultrasound (US), and ocular motility.

Mapping neural dynamics in brain circuits with anatomical structures spanning several millimeters, however, remains challenging. Here, we demonstrate the first CMOS neural probe for mapping intracortical neural dynamics (both LFPs and spikes) in awake, behaving mice from an area >4 mm.

At 2-5 GPa and 1300 °C, C atoms preferentially occupy the interstitial sites of the face-centered cubic (fcc) Co lattice, leading to the formation of metastable CoC. The CoC decomposes above 1400 °C at 2-5 GPa, C atoms infiltrate the interstitial sites of the fcc Co lattice, saturating the C content in Co, forming an fcc CoC solid solution while the C atoms in excess are found to precipitate in the form of graphite.
