We present the case of a North African adult woman with a craniocephaly (oxycephaly) typical of the region. Her morphologic anomaly was never officially diagnosed. The patient suffered esthetic but no functional impairment from the oxycephaly.

The aim of this study was to retrospectively assess the results of an univocal attitude associating resection of a priori resectable lesions using visceral excisions as required, without sacral excision, but including intra-operative radiotherapy (IORT).
Patients And Methods: Between 1989 and 1999, 32 patients underwent resection for LRRC.

In the interest of avoiding the inconveniences of classic techniques like large and long scars, we propose an original procedure based on a supero-posterior pedicle and vertical scar. A preliminary review of 50 cas permit to conclude to reliable results and faithful reproduction.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFManagement of local-regional recurrences of primary rectal cancer (LRR) by a multi-disciplinary surgical team (GI, urological and plastic surgeons) is presented. Aggressive treatment involving surgical debulking and intra operative radiation can result in local control and long term survival in 10 to 20% of the patients with a low mortality and morbidity. Sequelae caused by the extended surgical resection are limited thanks to the fast healing following omentoplasty associated with musculo cutaneous flaps and to the fashioning of a continent stoma.
