Background: Preliminary data suggest that the prevalence of pulmonary hypertension (PH) in patients with COVID-19 is around 13%, but its prognostic role remains unclear. Approximately 3% of patients develop chronic thrombo-embolic pulmonary hypertension (CTEPH) following diagnosis of acute pulmonary embolism (PE). It is recommended that patients are screened for CTEPH if they remain symptomatic 3 months following diagnosis of PE.

Among the substrates used, CS appeared best followed by SCB and RS. WB showed best supplementation for mycelial growth.

The results of this cross-sectional study revealed that adolescents who perceived that their parents liked mathematics and considered mathematics was important for their children not only to study but also for their career tended to report higher levels of intrinsic and instrumental motivation to learn mathematics, mathematics self-concept and self-efficacy, and mathematics work ethic. Moreover, adolescents who perceived that their parents liked mathematics and considered mathematics was important for their children's career tended to report positive intentions and behaviors toward mathematics.

The recovery of Streptomycetes isolates (112) was influenced preferentially by different strategies; sediment samples were the best source of potential candidate Streptomycetes. All isolates exhibited antimicrobial activities with variable spectrum; the most promising isolates (31) were phenotypically characterized and identified as Streptomyces sp.

The PCR product profiles indicated the presence of genes encoding Bin A, Bin B and Mtx1 in all analyzed strains; they are consistent with protein profiles. The preliminary bioinformatics analysis of the binary toxin genes sequence revealed that the open reading frames had high similarities when matched with nucleotides sequence in the database of other B.
