The vermiform appendix is a tubular, blind-ended secondary lymphoid organ located near the caecum, often referred to as the "tonsil of the abdomen" due to the abundance of lymphoid follicles in its histology. The presence of germinal centers, which are indicators of lymphatic tissue response to antigens and subsequent antibody production, helps assess the immune status of individuals. By counting these germinal centers, researchers can evaluate the immune status of the Bangladeshi population across different age and sex groups.

This was a multicenter cohort study to evaluate the relationship between radiological findings and disability in moderate and severe head injury patients. The study places were the Neurosurgery department of Sylhet M A G Osmani Medical College Hospital, Sylhet Women's Medical College Hospital (SWMCH) and King Faisal Hospital (KFH), Taif, KSA. Sample size was 104 and the study period was 36 months (July 2021 to December 2022).

Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) is an important public health issue, with a leading cause of death and disability around the world. This cross-sectional study was conducted from January 2021 to December 2021 in the department of Biochemistry in Mymensingh Medical College in cooperation with the Department of Nephrology, Mymensingh Medical College Hospital, Mymensingh, Bangladesh. The study was carried out to evaluate the status of serum magnesium, zinc and CRP in patients with CKD not on dialysis for monitoring the disease progression.
