Objective: To describe the profile of transgender children and adolescents receiving care at a gender affirming outpatient clinic within the Brazilian National Health System (Sistema Único de Saúde - SUS) in São Paulo.
Methods: This was a descriptive study involving 555 participants, who received care between 2009 and 2020, in tertiary care services of the SUS. Data were analyzed using Pearson's chi-square test and standard deviation, considering gender, age, and origin.
High-density lipoprotein (HDL) is associated with decreased incidence of cardiovascular events, and its functionality also influences prognosis. Exercise is an important tool to improve prognosis in the post-infarction (MI) population, but the role of exercise on HDL functionality is poorly understood. Sixty-two patients with acute MI were randomized in a supervised exercise program for 12-14 weeks (exercise group-EG) or a control group (CG).

Samples were collected at different stages of production from three olive oil production lines in distinct regions of Portugal and analyzed for 23 phthalates and 9 phthalates substitutes to identify contamination sources. The developed analytical method employed liquid-liquid extraction with hexane/methanol (1:4, /), followed by centrifugation, extract removal, and freezing as a clean-up step.

Background: Most transgender people face different conditions of health vulnerability on a daily basis. In the Brazilian context, no research review has been found on such situations in the light of the theoretical conceptualization of multidimensional vulnerability. This research aimed to identify and analyze components of social and/or programmatic vulnerability that interfere with access to health care for trans people in Brazil.
