Afferent loop obstruction is a relatively rare but significant complication of Billroth II gastrojejunostomy. We report the imaging findings in a patient in whom obstruction presented acutely and was due to the presence of an enterolith. CT showed dilatation of both the main pancreatic duct and the biliary ducts, and a markedly dilated afferent loop within which a 5-cm mass was present.

Purpose: Diverticula of the proximal gastric pouch are rare after vertical-banded gastroplasty (VBG) for morbid obesity. We report the radiographic findings observed in a series of 12 patients with pouch diverticula.

Materials And Methods: Lesions were found along the posteromedial wall of the proximal gastric pouch and ranged in size from 10 to 25 mm.

Benign lymphoepithelial parotid lesions (BLL) are frequently reported in HIV-infected patients, although their clinical and prognostic significance in HIV infection has not been clearly defined. Ultrasonography (USG) has been shown to be a reliable method in monitoring the progression of such lesions. The purpose of this study was to describe the spectrum of sonographic and Doppler findings and to monitor any clinically evident physical change of parotid glands in a cohort of congenitally HIV-infected patients taking antiretroviral therapy.

Although rare, patients with biliopancreatic diversion for morbid obesity will be subject to obstruction of the biliopancreatic limb. This condition is commonly due to postoperative adhesions and intussusception and usually presents with misleading clinical and radiographic features that can delay the diagnosis and the treatment. We recently encountered a patient with obstruction of the biliopancreatic limb due to involvement from Crohn disease.

The aim of this study is to evaluate the long-term results of this operation in our patient population.
