Breast cancer is a major medical threat which cannot be sufficiently addressed by current therapies because of spontaneous or acquired treatment resistance. Besides, triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) tumors do not respond to targeted therapies, thus new therapeutic strategies are needed.
