Military veterans who became disabled due to conflict-related trauma face various challenges in finding and maintaining employment in civilian life. This study aims to understand the transition processes of disabled veterans in Turkey into civilian employment, as well as their experiences in maintaining and sustaining employment during this process. Capsule endoscopy offers a non-invasive and patient-friendly method for imaging the gastrointestinal tract, boasting superior tissue accessibility compared to traditional endoscopy and colonoscopy. While advances have led to capsules capable of drug delivery, tactile sensing, and biopsy, size constraints often limit a single capsule from having multifunctionality. In response, we introduce multi-capsule endoscopy, where individually ingested capsules, each with unique functionalities, work collaboratively.

Breast reduction techniques strive to obtain a final aesthetic breast shape. The most difficult issues to address after breast surgery are providing consistent upper pole fullness and preventing recurrent ptosis. Our surgical approach is a superior pedicle vertical scar breast reduction with an inferior pedicle chest wall-based flap to enhance the projection of the breast.

Introduction: Prophylactic mastectomy is performed to reduce the risk of breast cancer in high-risk conditions, and expectations about reconstruction are too high. Implant coverage with healthy tissue and skin reducing as an envelope are two concerns in the treatment of macromastia cases. We present our results obtained with a prosthetic reconstruction technique using an inferior pedicled de-epithelialized dermal flap after vertical-pattern skin-sparing mastectomy in this retrospective study.
