Background: The incidence of gynecological cancers in premenopausal women is increasing, highlighting issues related to Hormonal Contraception (HC) and Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT). However, the presence of hormonal receptors in many gynecological cancers complicates HC and HRT prescriptions.
Objective: To identify barriers experienced by gynecologists in prescribing HC and HRT to gynecological cancer survivors, with a secondary objective of conducting a literature review on the safety of these prescriptions.

Purpose: This study was aimed at comprehensive genomic analysis of VIM-type carbapenemase-producing Klebsiella pneumoniae species complex (KpSC) in Poland.
Methods: All non-duplicate 214 VIM-producing KpSC isolates reported in Poland in 2006-2019 were short-read sequenced and re-identified by the average nucleotide identity scoring. Their clonality/phylogeny was assessed by cgMLST and SNP in comparison with genomes from international databases.
Ketogenic diet has a wide range of beneficial effects but presents practical limitations due to its low compliance, hence dietary supplements have been developed to induce ketosis without nutrient deprivation. The alcohol 1,3-butanediol (BD) is a promising molecule for its ability to induce ketosis, but its effects on brain have been investigated so far only in disease models, but never in physiological conditions. To support BD use to preserve brain health, the analysis of its activity is mandatory.

The phytohormone abscisic acid (ABA) is involved in the acquisition of cold tolerance in zucchini fruit, being the riboflavin pathway one of the most differentially induced with ABA treatment. Thus, the aim of this work was to elucidate the involvement of riboflavin in quality maintenance of zucchini fruit during postharvest cold storage.
