[Radiochemotherapy of bladder cancer with/without tissue-organ protection].

The authors report the results of radiochemotherapy for bladder cancer, both advanced and early with a poor prognosis, on the basis of their own material as well as based on the literature. More than half of the patients received radioprotective madication at the same time. The short follow-up does not allow for far-reaching conclusions, but early results and limited complications appear hopeful.

Introduction: The authors report on ESWL treatment of 29 patients suffering from pancreatolithiasis.

Patients/methods: The mean age was 46.5 (23-76) years, there were 7 women and 22 men.

Surveying the therapeutic results of 16 testicular tumour patients treated in the recent 5 years, the authors stress, beside the generally accepted and use complex treatment, the importance of recognizing the disease in its early stage.

[Urological complications following surgical procedures and their management].

The urological complications of surgical interventions are discussed on the basis of the authors' clinical material collected over six years. Mainly fistulas and inflammatory complications occurred due to gynaecological operations performed by abdominal penetration. The possibilities and incidence of complications, as well as the diagnostic methods used for their detection and the applied therapies are reviewed.
