[Which alternatives could be considered for health students learning about falls in older patients? Focus groups].

Older patients are at risk of falling, making fall prevention a critical component of training for future health professionals. To understand the expectations of health students regarding falls in the elderly, four consecutive focus groups were organized at the Angers hospital. The aim was to assess students' views on the effectiveness of using an educational or serious game to complement their traditional training.

User Experience of a Semi-Immersive Musical Serious Game to Stimulate Cognitive Functions in Hospitalized Older Patients: Questionnaire Study.

Background: Reminiscence therapy through music is a psychosocial intervention with benefits for older patients with neurocognitive disorders. Therapies using virtual or augmented reality are efficient in ecologically assessing, and eventually training, episodic memory in older populations. We designed a semi-immersive musical game called "A Life in Songs," which invites patients to immerse themselves in a past era through visuals and songs from that time period.

Usability of the digit-tracking technique in a geriatric population of inpatients with and without neurocognitive disorders: The DIGICOG-start study.

Tools for the early diagnosis of neurocognitive disorders (NCD) both accessible, fast, fun and efficient are currently needed. A digit-tracking technique (Digitrack) has been developed based on the exploration of blurred images on a tablet with the finger, related to the exploration of images during eye-tracking. The present study aimed at assessing the objective usability and the subjective User eXperience (UX) of the Digitrack by older adults according to the presence and the severity of NCD.

Interest of a Hospital-Based Geriatric Living Lab among Inpatients with Neurocognitive Disorders: The ALLEGRIA Cross-Sectional Study.

Introduction: The objectives of this study were to determine the participation rates, levels of engagement, and abilities to answer User eXperience (UX) questionnaires according to the presence and severity of major neurocognitive disorders (MNCD) among participants involved in gerontechnological experimentations within a hospital-based geriatric clinical living lab.

Methods: Cross-sectional analysis examining all consecutive geriatric patients involved in the Allegro living lab experimentations, separated according to the presence and severity of MNCD. Participation rates were assessed using the "Task-Based Experiment"-type User eXperience (TBE-UX).
