Valuable insights into the history of human populations have been obtained by studying the genetic composition of their domesticated species. Here we address some of the long-standing questions about the origin and subsequent movements of goat pastoralism in Northern Africa. We present the first study combining results from mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) and Y chromosome loci for the genetic characterization of a domestic goat population.

The transferrin receptors (TfR/CD71) play an important role in the mechanisms of 67Ga uptake by tumor cells. However, the relationship between the 67Ga uptake in NHL and the TfR/CD71 expression in lymphomatous cells remains to be defined.
